Map

Here is the map that is in our classroom with all of the Flat Stanleys that we have received so far!

Stanley has visited 5 cities in 2 different countries! Wow!

Stanley Visits Logan, Utah!

Flat Stanley visted Logan, Utah!

Stanley visited Utah State University! It looked beautiful!

Sometimes, being flat is hard. It looks like the wind blew Stanley up into a tree! Good thing the tree looked so nice! We made the connection that the trees in Monroe, WA look similar to the tree in Logan, UT!

Wow, look at these buffalo!

Flat Stanley visited an Elementary School in Utah! Here are some 2nd graders with Stanley!

Stanley got to see how Gossner's cheese is made.

Yum! Look at all of that cheese! I wonder how many different kinds Stanley tried?

Flat Stanley Visits Tomball/Houston, Texas USA!

Flat Stanley visited Tomball (near Houston), Texas!

Stanley visited a renaisance festival with his host family.

Stanley saw people doing fire eating, sword swallowing, juggling and really cool renaisance costumes!

Flat Stanley visits Camp Arifjan, Kuwait!

Flat Stanley got to visit Mrs. Dunn and all of the other soldiers at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Mrs. Dunn is a 5th Grade teacher at Frank Wagner Elementary who was called into duty this year. We're glad to have Flat Stan visit!

Pictures were not allowed, but we got a couple really cool postcards! Stanley met the general, ate at the dining facility, hit the gym, rode in a military police car (for fun - he was on his best behavior) and got some new army issued clothing on his stay! :)

Flat Stanley Visits Atlanta, Georgia USA!

Flat Stanley had a fun trip to Atlanta

Stanley visited CNN headquarters and saw the TV news being made. It looks like a very busy place! The escalator on the right is the longest freestanding escalator!

Stanley visited the World of Coke!

Stanley visited the Georgia Aquarium! Here he saw beluga wales and found out that this is the worlds largst aquarium with 8 million gallons of water. Wow!

Wow! Stanley saw 2 stadiums! The closest one is where Atlanta Hawks NBA team plays and the stadium in the back is where the Atlant Falcons NFL team plays!

He saw where the 1996 summer Olympics were held!

Flat Stanley paid his respects to the late Martin Luther King Jr. and his wife Coretta Scott King. Amazing!

Flat Stanley visited St. Louis, Missouri USA!

He visited the beautiful Gateway Arch - which we found out is the tallest man made monument in the US!

We found out that the arch is very big! Look at how little Stanley and the girls look next to it!

Here is Flat Stanley with his host family next to the Mississippi River!
